This is the BEST Chinese food in Norfolk! I have tried ALL the other Chinese restaurants in the area and they all pale in comparison. Fried dumplings, house special Lo Mein, and house special fried rice are gold standard dishes cooked to perfection. The only bummer is they are CLOSED on Mondays.
This is the best Chinese food I have found in this area. Have been enjoying it for over 20 years! Favorites are szechuan shrimp and chicken chow mein.
I have been eating hear for 20 yrs. Even though I've lived in Virginia Beach for 10 yrs now, I will drive out Norfolk just for the best Chinese. They are the best in this area from a real Chinese foodie.
I worked in the front window the other day when I went to the Subway next door and noticed that the dining area floor was spotless and the tables were clean, neat, and the baseboards didn't show signs of gunk. So I decided to give them a try today. I ordered crab Rangoon, a pepper steak with fried rice and egg roll combo, and a General Tso's combo. We will eat this for lunch tomorrow, but I sampled everything, and am glad I stopped by. The pepper steak had the right flavor, but I am not used to the General's chicken being served with sauce on the side. I do not care for this recipe, but no stars taken away for that.
My family and I have been eating here for over 20 years . I drive from Virginia Beach to come here because they have the best fried rice in town!! Chicken wings are amazing and the general chicken . If it’s not from China One, I don’t eat it!! I’ve never had anything that wasn’t good from here and I’ve tried pretty much everything lol.I don’t know what I would do if they ever closed down.
The food was on point! It was delicious.. beef and broccoli was fresh and delicious, the egg rolls were crispy and flavorful, the general tso was heka good.. we all enjoyed each of our dishes equally.. i would recommend this place to anyone that may pass this place by.
This place is a hidden secret. I often passed on eating ANYTHING from here because of the location and the outside was always unkept but, a co-worker ordered from here and the food was delicious. Fresh ascend filling. The spring rolls are to die for and the rice...it must have a special sauce because it's addictive. I'll be back.
Fast service. Food was delicious n hot. Store was clean lady taking orders was polite. Thanks for the food would definitely cime back again. Thumbs up 5 stars
